InterEnergy Group Announces Leadership Changes in the Dominican Republic

InterEnergy Group announced changes to its leadership structure as part of the ongoing implementation of its long-term strategy in the Dominican Republic.
Effective February 15, 2026, Roberto Herrera, after more than 27 years in executive leadership positions and leading the Group’s operations in the country, will assume new responsibilities. In this next stage, Herrera will serve as Strategic Advisor to the Chairman and senior leadership team, while continuing to actively serve on the boards of InterEnergy and its main companies in the Dominican Republic.
In his new role, he will continue supporting key strategic initiatives, strengthening relationships with relevant stakeholders, and contributing to the identification of new development opportunities for the Group.
Throughout his career, Herrera made decisive contributions to the development, growth, and consolidation of InterEnergy and its companies, helping position CEPM, CEB, Energas, GEDOM, InterEnergy Systems, Activa, and Evergo as leading companies in the sector. His leadership was instrumental in building an organizational culture grounded in operational excellence, sustainability, and innovation.

Leadership Transition
This transition is supported by a highly experienced and committed team that continues to contribute to the Group’s growth and evolution in the Dominican Republic.
Marcelo Aicardi, Chief Operating Officer (COO) of InterEnergy Group, will continue to oversee operations across all the markets where the Group operates. As part of this transition, Oscar San Martín will assume the role of Country Manager for the Dominican Republic, in addition to his current executive responsibilities as General Manager of CEPM and CEB.
