With a proud boast of over 500 electric vehicle (EV) chargers already operational in the Dominican Republic, InterEnergy Group, through its brand Evergo, marks a significant milestone with the formal inauguration of the region’s premier EV charging station: Evergo Connect. This pioneering station, powered entirely by solar energy, marks a formidable leap towards sustainable transportation infrastructure in the Caribbean.

The station, equipped with 29 rapid chargers, signifies a bold step towards fostering electric mobility in the Dominican Republic. Beyond mere functionality, the station offers an array of amenities, including dining options, resting areas, and an EV exhibition, signaling a holistic approach towards promoting eco-friendly transportation solutions.

Speaking at the conference, González Bunster articulated the company’s overarching vision, stating, “Our goal is to establish additional facilities like this across the region”.
