Enadom begins the construction of a new Liquid Natural Gas storage tank for US$250 million

Energía Natural Dominicana (ENADOM), our company for the commercialization of natural gas in the Dominican Republic in partnership with AES Dominicana, began the construction of a new storage tank for Liquid Natural Gas, of 120,000 cubic meters to contribute to the development of the energy matrix for the benefit of the productive sectors and the population of the Dominican Republic.

The event, where the authorization to start the construction was delivered to the Korean company POSCO E&C, took place with the participation of the President of the Dominican Republic, Luis Abinader, the Minister of Energy and Mines, Antonio Almonte, and other authorities in the sector.

Its commercial operation is scheduled for 2023 and involves an investment of more than US$250MM, which added to the investment of the Eastern Gas Pipeline (50 km) of US$100MM, for a total of US$350MM, will be possible thanks to the long-term vision and the confidence that the company Energía Natural Dominicana (ENADOM) has in the economic and institutional future of the Dominican Republic.
